Avanti Garda
“ We connect parkour, culture, and art in one place. ”

We are parkour group Avanti Garda from Prague and with a reach across the whole world, we aim to connect our sport, its culture, and art. For the third year now, we have succeeded in doing this through our event Holding Hands. Holding Hands is a unique sports-cultural event in Prague. Parkour people from all over the world gather here to share a valuable part of our sport – parkour culture. Entry to our event is free. Everyone is invited. That’s why even passersby come to visit, for whom the event serves as an introduction to parkour. The same goes for the general public who already know a little about parkour but are curious to see what it really looks like in a real life. The competitions, which are part of the event, are a great show for all non-parkour people. In past years, we gathered around 300–400 visitors.
Program
You can look forward to screenings of never-before-seen parkour films, an art gallery, a raffle, friendly competitions, live music, beer, and a great atmosphere.
Art Exhibitions
In the gallery, we present photos and artworks by global artists connected to parkour.
Film Screenings
Projects and films by international parkour athletes allow visitors to see our sport from different cultural perspectives. Outside the community, this gives smaller parkour brands a chance to surface.
Parkour Competitions
Competitions with a friendly atmosphere. Anyone can participate for free and maybe even win something. For non-parkour visitors, it’s the best way to show of what parkour is.
Raffle
The best way to support us – and also win something interesting. In play are posters, photos, artworks, parkour clothing, and much more.
Music Program
A concert and afterparty where only parkour people perform. Let’s all relax and have fun together with live music.
